# About this graph

`uruguay-catalogue` is every dataset on Uruguay's national open-data catalogue (catalogodatos.gub.uy) as it stood on 14 October 2026: 2,718 datasets, 14,426 files, 70 publishers, 22 themes, as DCAT in the named graph `urn:sophia:garden:uruguay-catalogue:dcat`, with the harvest's provenance in `urn:sophia:garden:uruguay-catalogue:provenance`.

The folder *Every dataset, by publisher* holds one card per publisher and one paragraph per dataset, which is what semantic search reads: ask in Spanish or English ("consumo de energía", "school enrolment") and the paragraphs that answer come back, each ending with the dataset's IRI. From the IRI, SPARQL gives the files and their download links (`dcat:distribution`, `dcat:downloadURL`).

The English after each title is Sophia's gloss, not the publisher's. The metadata belongs to its publishers, under the Licencia de Datos Abiertos – Uruguay (or the licence each dataset names): *Fuente: Catálogo Nacional de Datos Abiertos (catalogodatos.gub.uy), metadatos de cada organismo proveedor; cosechados el 14/10/2026 y convertidos a DCAT por Sophia Labs, con glosas en inglés no oficiales; se omitieron los correos de contacto.*

How to search it, and what it does not contain, is in the guide graph `cow-tools-guide` under *Finding other Uruguay data*.
